By downloading, installing, or using the Pacey Chrome Extension and related services ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Pacey is an AI-powered website blocker and productivity tool designed to help users manage their attention. It uses artificial intelligence to negotiate access to blocked content.

3. Account & Security

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Subscriptions & Payments

  • Billing: Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis (e.g., monthly or annually) securely via Stripe.
  • Cancellations: You may cancel your subscription at any time via your dashboard. Access will continue until the end of the current billing period.
  • Refunds: Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis at our sole discretion, though we generally offer a satisfaction guarantee for initial purchases.

5. Usage Restrictions

You agree not to:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Pacey extension.
  • Use the Service to generate harmful, illegal, or abusive content via the AI chat.
  • Attempt to bypass or exploit the licensing or payment mechanisms.

6. AI & Content Disclaimer

  • Experimental Nature: Pacey uses Large Language Models (LLMs) which may occasionally generate incorrect or unpredictable responses. We do not guarantee the accuracy of AI outputs.
  • "As Is" Basis: The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pacey (and its creators) shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data or productivity.
