When you create an account on our website, we collect:

  • Billing Information: Payment details are processed securely by our payment processor (Stripe); we do not store your full credit card information.

B. Extension Usage Data

Pacey is designed to be privacy-first.

  • Browsing History: We do NOT track or store your browsing history on our servers.
  • Blocking Rules: Your blocklists and strictness settings are primarily stored locally on your device or synced securely to your account settings if you enable synchronization.
  • AI Interactions: When you negotiate with Pacey, your inputs are processed by Google's Gemini API. We do not use your interactions to train our own internal AI models. Data processed by Google is subject to their privacy terms and policies.

C. Cookies & Tracking

We use cookies to:

  • Maintain your active session on our website.
  • Sync Login State: If enabled, we use a secure cookie to automatically log you into the Chrome Extension when you visit your dashboard.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your data to:

  • Provide the core functionality of Pacey (negotiating access, managing subscriptions).
  • Sync your preferences across devices (if you opt-in).
  • Process payments and prevent fraud.
  • Improve the performance of our extension.

  • Stripe: For payment processing.
  • Google Gemini: For the AI intelligence behind Pacey's negotiations.

5. Limited Use Disclosure

Pacey's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Pacey certifies that:

  • Allowed Use: We only use personal or sensitive user data (including web history and chat logs) to provide and improve the user-facing features of website blocking and AI-based negotiation.
  • Allowed Transfer: We do not transfer this data to third parties except as necessary to provide these features (e.g., secure cloud hosting), for security, or to comply with the law.
  • Prohibited Advertising: We never use or transfer user data for serving personalized, re-targeted, or interest-based advertisements.
  • Prohibited Human Interaction: We do not allow humans to read your user data, except where you have explicitly given consent (e.g., for support), for security purposes, or where the data is aggregated and anonymized.

We implement industry-standard security measures, including encryption in transit (SSL/TLS) and secure database practices (Row Level Security), to protect your information.
